The Big Block at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

Printing Philadelphia will culminate in a final, celebratory public art-making event called The Big Block! hosted at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Sunday, December 4, 2005. All project participants, their families and friends, local artists, and the public will be invited to a day of printmaking. The event will include displays of artwork created throughout the project, historic and culturally specific background information about woodcuts, demonstrations, workshops, and printing stations at which visitors can make their own prints.
